International Master Plans
Airbiz is currently involved in a range of Master Planning projects internationally. For Sydney Airport, Airbiz, in association with Maunsell AECOM, is responsible for the preparation of a 20 year master plan. Airbiz tasks include busy hour forecasts for terminal and stand demand, airfield planning and simulation, terminal strategic planning, air traffic management consideration, hazard and risk, and aircraft noise impacts.
Airbiz, in association with Maunsell AECOM, has also been appointed to undertake the Hong Kong Airport 2030 Master Plan to determine a layout concept that achieves operational efficiency and planning requirements for the long term economic sustainability of the airport.
Wellington Airport has appointed Airbiz, in association with Beca, to prepare its new Master Plan through to 2030. The Master Plan will tackle a number of major challenges for Wellington Airport in its planning to meet future potential capacity of the Airport including consideration of constraints, issues and opportunities, and the identification and evaluation of development options.
Airbiz is also advising Qantas on a number of master plan issues associated with their terminal developments at Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth airports.
